Major Kinks!

I have a headache. In the middle of preparing for the most pre-planned party I've ever thrown, my blog is a mess. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong. I LOVE it. (don't you?) But I didn't realize I'd be responsible for setting up all of the links to my new category buttons on the right and I won't have time to do that until next week. So don't bother clicking on them...they'll take you no where. Once they are up and running, that part of it won't be a mess anymore.

The bigger problem is that all links to roosefam.blogspot posts are now gone. Followers and subscribers will not be redirected to my new address, you now get the added work of deleting Three Blondes and a Redhead and adding Intentionally Katie. For that, I'm so sorry!

All of the links I have on my 101 in 1001 post...gone. Recipes on my meal plans lead no where. Everyone who has ever referred to a post of mine now has a link to an invalid address. I did come up with a solution there, but it will take me hours to do. For those of you who have linked my recipes to your blogs or meal plans, I'm going to repost them all on the old web address so YOUR links are not invalid. There are also a few other more popular posts I might relink back to roosefam.blogspot because I know people have linked to them.

Blogger has no customer service line. I've been sick to my stomach over the thought of ALL of my old post addresses disappearing. I posted a comment to Blogger's Help Chat Forum asking for help from a live person and just got my first response...and I quote: "You're going through the same anguish that we are all going through."

Lovely.

I started this horrible process about an hour ago and now...the headache. I don't GET headaches, so I'm not a happy camper. I see a Tylenol PM in my future. I'm going to turn off my computer until Monday, choose and post the circus tickets winner before doing anything else, then spend some time fixing all of these details.

Maybe I'll sneak in a quick post before Monday. Regardless of when I type it up, expect a wonderfully long blog post with all of the fabulous stories about Ryan's Carnival Party tomorrow. And I'll include lots of pictures for those who couldn't care less about the details. :)
